One of Kenya's best known Media personality, Jeff Koinange, has recovered from Covid-19 days after testing positive.
Through his Twitter page, Koinange said he was in his 17th day of isolation. He thanked his fans for their prayers.
“Folks...Day 17 in isolation and I just got my 2nd test results...NEGATIVE...I have BEATEN this MONSTER! And YOU can too! Thank you for ALL your Prayers, Kind Words and Good Wishes! TOGETHER can win this WAR against #COVID19 God Bless! Twende Kazi,” he said in the tweet.

Jeff previously revealed that he had tested positive for the coronavirus.
Via Twitter, Mr Koinange said he was asymptomatic and that he was doing well. Mr Koinange, a journalist by profession, said his family members were also fine.
"All my close contacts have been informed. Right now I'm in self isolation," he said, and thanked his employer, Royal Media Services, for support.

On Thursday, August 6, Kenya recorded 538 Covid-19 cases over a 24-hour period, bringing the total number of cases to 24,411.
Addressing the media from Afya House, Health CAS Rashid Abdalla announced that 6,195 samples had been tested in the same period, bringing the total number of samples tested to 335,318.
In terms of age, 333 were male while 205 were female while the oldest case recorded is 85 years old and the youngest is a two-year-old baby.
