My Experience with Schwarzkopf GlissKur Hair Repair Million Gloss Crystal Oil:
Schwarzkopf GlissKur Hair Repair Million Gloss Crystal Oil comes in a sealed cardboard packaging. Like the name million gloss, the packaging looks glossy. The product-related information is printed on the back side of the box. The crystal oil comes in a blue plastic pump bottle. It is all shiny at the back. The bottle comes with a transparent cap which closes with a click, making the product a travel-friendly one. The pump doesn’t come with a lock mechanism, so, one has to be careful with the cap else the bottle will get messy. Overall, the packaging is sleek and classy.
The crystal oil is clear, thick and has a gel-like texture. The oil has a very intriguing and a pleasant floral fragrance. It stays for around 2-3 hours after which it fades away. Just a pump or two is more than enough for my shoulder length hair.
Initially, the oil looks a bit greasy but, it disappears within a few seconds. The oil makes the hair instantly soft and smooth while reducing the frizz. It adds a subtle gloss and radiance, but this is short-lived and after 4-5 hours, the hair looks dry and not shinier like before. The product provides a good moisturization effect, and my hair remains hydrated for a long time. My hair stays tangle free for almost 2-3 days, until the next shower.
The oil doesn’t make the scalp oilier, and for someone who has an oily scalp like me, this is a huge plus. The product contains silicones which make the hair smooth. The oil can be used as a heat protectant too. The oil does make my dry ends look healthier and nourished. It doesn’t make my hair limp. When used with a blow dryer, it provides an instant volume to my hair. The product works well for reviving dry, dull hair. It is a leave-in serum which works best when the hair is still wet, and this makes the combing process very easier.
