Slowbucks keep catching L's. 50 Cent's friend-turned-foe, Bang 'Em Smurf is saying Slowbucks used to carry Lloyd Banks bag around for him. Peep his words below. He was speaking of how Slowbucks rose up in ranks within the G-Unit camp.
“At the end of the day I was happy for him. Cause I seen him come up from nothing. I seen him coming up from carrying Lloyd Banks’ bags to owning his own company and branding his own company. So, I was proud of the little nigga. But what I disagreed with—These niggas be in a whole bunch of circles with a bunch of different niggas and everybody got conflict against each other. I mean, one minute he’ll be with Ross. He with Meek Mill. Then he’ll be with 50. He’ll be with Banks. He’ll be with Trav. You gotta understand if you a real nigga you gotta keep it solid. You can’t fuck with all kind of circles.”
I get what Bang 'Em Smurf is trying to say, but people have to understand that Slowbucks became a business man, and in business, you can't make your potential customers your enemies. Slowbucks has a clothing line, and he has to expand his view beyond just his close hood friends, who would probably want his brand for free anyway.
For those that don't know who Slowbucks or Bang 'Em Smurf are, let me take some time to briefly explain. Slowbucks used to be in 50's camp, and then he started his own company, and started hanging around many other artistes...many of whom were 50 Cent's enemies. You know Curtis sure don't like stuff like that. And that brought the animosity within them. A few weeks ago, Slowbucks got beat down and got his chain snatched when he went on stage during 50 Cent's Summer Jam performance.
And as for Bang 'Em Smurf, he used to be one of 50's soldiers before 50 got shot. Word on the street was that he was the one combing the streets for the guy who shot 50, while 50 was recovering from his gun shot wounds. But, they had a falling out after 50 Cent blew up, and Bang 'Em Smurf felt 50 wasn't reaching out to help him.
