We don't know if we're buying this one, honestly.A source tells Heat magazine (via Sugarscape): "He texted the boys and then announced it. I don't think he wanted anyone to be able to talk him out of it."
We'd like to think there were some thoughtful conversations going on among them and that he didn't dump it all into a text. Then there's the idea that there are hard feelings among the guys, as the insider said they're losing a chunk of money because Zayn left, explaining: "There was a massive loyalty bonus for each member if they all fulfilled the record deal."
The source added, "But Zayn didn't even want the money. All he ever wanted to do was buy his mum a new house - and he's done that, so there was no incentive for him to finish the tour, let alone make a fifth album only to spend another six months on the road."
